1. Do not buy turtles, or animals in general, from pet stores. The turtle trade is responsible for tremendous animal suffering and serious damage to turtle populations and to our environment.
   
   
2. Suggest, without hesitation, your friends not to buy turtles or animals in general.
   
   
3. Let everybody know about our PETITION TO THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT to ban the importation of all species of terrapins. In 2011, it will be proposed to European Union Representatives to "sponsor" it at the European Parliament. We want to specify, though, we are not a political association. We are not even an association. We are only interested in the well being of animals.
